IT Services Hungary, T-Systems International member ICT company, have a great interest in design
thinking methodology and they contemplate implementing it into their organizational and working
processes.
By growing a successful business, they recently doubled their headcount to 4300 employees which
also puts them face to face with challenges of a new nature. Thinking of these have tossed the
creative moods and initiated continuous solution ideation waves around the firm.
We (me and my recently collaborated design partner-in-crime) came in to support the beginning of
this far-reaching challenge, to help design a solution process and, at the same time, to give an
introduction to design thinking methodology through this real business case in a few hour-long
workshop for a group of 16 people in mainly manager positions.

We first tested the effect of high-stake listening, to deeply understand and feel someone’s personal needs by one-by-one deep interviews. After that, they grouped findings, they articulated different issues, needs and then they identified the main design challenges with built-on methods. After the workshop we tailored a guideline kit on paper to encourage the group to keep on utilizing the design process.
